
About the LFA
The Lupus Foundation of America, Inc. (LFA) is the foremost national nonprofit voluntary health organization dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for lupus and providing support, services, and hope to all people affected by lupus. The LFA and its nationwide network of nearly 300 chapters, branches, and support groups conduct programs of research, education, and advocacy.
OUR STORY
The Philadelphia Tri-State Chapter is the former Southeastern PA Chapter. Our new Chapter name reflects our expanded service territory into Southern Jersey and the state of Delaware in addition to ten counties in the Southeastern Pennsylvania Region. The Southeastern PA Chapter was formed in 2000 with the merger of the Delaware Valley and Philadelphia Chapters. Currently the only chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America in Pennsylvania, we provide direct services in the southeastern part of the state including Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh, Lancaster, Lebanon, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia counties as well as seven southern New Jersey counties and the state of Delaware.
